Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy describes how iCampMaroc collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.
1. Data collected
We collect the information you provide during registration (name, email, phone number), booking data (dates, vehicles, amounts), reviews and messages exchanged on the platform, and technical browsing data (IP address, browser type, pages visited). For owners, we also collect vehicle information and identity documents.
2. Data usage
Your data is used to: provide and improve our booking services, process payments and generate invoices, enable communication between renters and owners, send notifications related to your bookings, ensure platform security and prevent fraud, and personalize your user experience.
3. Cookies
iCampMaroc uses essential cookies for platform functionality (authentication, language preferences) and analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the site. You can configure your browser to reject non-essential cookies, although this may affect some features.
4. Data Sharing
We never sell your personal data. Your information may be shared with: other users in the context of a booking (name, profile photo, reviews), our payment processors to handle transactions, and competent authorities if required by law. Owners and renters only see information necessary for the booking.
5. Data Retention
Your personal data is retained as long as your account is active. After account deletion, your data is anonymized or deleted within 30 days, except for data required to meet our legal obligations (billing, disputes) which is retained for the period required by law.
6. Data protection
We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your data: encryption of sensitive data, secure connections (HTTPS/TLS), restricted access to personal data, regular backups, and continuous monitoring of our systems.
7. Your rights
In accordance with Law No. 09-08 and CNDP regulations, you have the following rights: right of access to your personal data, right to rectify inaccurate information, right to delete your data, right to object to the processing of your data. 8. Minors
iCampMaroc is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover that a minor has created an account, it will be deleted immediately.
